Navajo and Native American Prints. Say hello to Pendelton.

If there was one thing brewing around my time in New York, it was the slow and unassuming introduction of Pendleton to some of the haunts frequented by the young and fashion-savvy. Urban Outfitters, Levi, and Opening Ceremony have all collaborated with or are selling the wears of the Native American blanket weavers, consummating a relationship that will see the iconic woolen patterns finding their way into the wardrobes of the young, hip, and cool right in time for hail and snow.

While the Urban Outfitters selection is way more affordable and accessible, the Opening Ceremony offering effectively shits all over it. Gorgeously thick woolen coats - one of which even made it's way into the Gossip Girls wardrobe - were perfectly accentuated with harem trousers, woolen dresses and cutesy accessories like hats, gloves, and scarfs, all crafted to keep the wind out and warmth in. We even spotted the infiltration had made it to this side of the pond, where a small selection of men's shirts can be found in Attic.

These are high up on my wish list...if only I had the pennies...oh Opening Ceremony how you tease.

Long socks and shorts are the best companions for sexy winter wears. These bad boys are $170 but hey, it's almost Christmas...

Adding to my obsession with things that come as one and are hard to pee in, this would make a perfect interview outfit for that super-cool job I am yet to find, $630.

A blanket disguised as a coat? SOLD! Well when that super...wait for it...awesome job comes along....$1,055.

And while I dream maybe these can offer some consolation, all from Urban Outfitters.

A snip at £25 and keeping your ears warm and fashionable at the same time - a darn sight better than those hairy things Primark are offering right now.

Slung over  my vintage forest-green coat, I think this will be a winner, but at £258 I should probably save it and add to my optimistic possible Opening Ceremony purchase fund. Man.
